    Optimization tip - You can use ''Upscale'' option to gain 30-50 FPS and use ''Image Sharpening'' on Nvidia Control Panel/Game Filters to make the game look *almost* normal.

    You can use ''Upscale'' option to gain 30-50 FPS and use ''Image Sharpening'' on Nvidia Control Panel/Game Filters to make the game look *almost* normal - without loosing on FPS so basicially you gain FPS for free. Both values of ''Image Sharpening'' have to be set to ''1'' on Nvidia control panel. You can also use Nvidia Filters which you can access by pressing CTRL+= -> Filters and there looking for ''Image Sharpening'' which is basically the same thing but I've noticed a little FPS difference (or I am trippin') also there is an ''Image Sharpening+'' filter that can enchance your game even more but with this one I've noticed only 20-30 FPS gain and also it's hard to set up nice looking game.
    Also I've tested it on laptop with 9th gen Intel i5 and RTX 2060 so the ''Image Sharpening'' option may not be available for every Nvidia card. And the game option I used were ''Remastered'' + ''TAA'', from my own little experiment for some unkown reason to me game works better on ''Remastered'' when upscaled than ''Very High''. The look and performance of your game may not be as mine, it depends on your GPU and monitor panel.

    I'm sorry if this was known before but I did read two Optimization guides that were posted here on reddit and I don't remember people talking about this ''trick'' only about Upscaling as they usually talk only about gaining FPS and not making the game also look good. This feature will be great for people who want to keep Remastered Mod on with TAA while doing some more intensive content without loosing on performance. Becuase to be honest I can't stand anti-aliasing or rather lack of it on Low to Very High game options. The other thing I've noticed is that TAA with turned off SSAO eleminates pop ins. My overall gain was form 70-100 FPS to 100-150.

    Archer lore, ascension story

    I used the knowledge gained from the Archer Ascension quest, the info from his release page, and the Hadum God of Despair 1,2,3 knowledge entry, to reconstruct the lore, story of the Archer, and Lutraghons. https://bdocodex.com/us/theme/10080/

    The Luthraghons (male elves) just like the Ganelles, and Vedir, originated from another dimension, called the Realm of Elvia.Sylvia, patron goddess, and mother of the elves was the ruler of that dimension. She planted a divine tree there, Kamasylve, and bore three children. From the energies of the sun Ganelle was born, from the energies of the moon came Vedir, and her last child, Luthraghon was conceived by the energies of the earth. This is how the three clans of elves appeared, according to their legend.

    Together they lived in Elvia's Realm, until it was invaded by Godr-Ayed (a powerful entity, from another dimension) who attacked Sylvia, and forced her to flee. She took the Ganelles and Vedirs with her when she escaped her dimension, but left the Luthraghons there, to protect the Kamasylve.

    When she arrived in the Light Realm (the dimension, word we play in BDO), she planted a new Kamasylve, and left again.The Kamasylve of Elvia's Realm, and the new divine tree in Grana created a bridge between the two dimensions, which was used by the male, and female elves to visit each other.Sadly, the Luthraghons couldn't protect their Kamasylve, it was destroyed, and they were trapped in their dimension. They searched their world for a solution, until they found the last seed of the destroyed divine tree, which they planted. But when the new tree sprouted, and grew, it became apparent that it was different from the one they failed to protect.

    The male elves couldn't use it as an interdimensional portal any longer, but they could hear Sylvia's words through it. She promised them, she would return, and would reopen the gateway for them; if they managed to defeat Godr-Ayed. By Caphras, the Luthraghons were tricked into summoning the Black Sun, hoping it would grant them power to defeat Godr-Ayed, and end their exile. But the Black Sun was a portal, which let Hadum (God of Despair), into their dimension.

    Tho she defeated and banished Godr-Ayed, she also conquered their whole world, bringing chaos, misery, darkness, and terror. She attacked the Luthraghons, destroyed the new Kamasylve, but unknown to her, some of the roots survived.The male elves built a fortress around their last hope, Adúir, and led a resistance against Hadum. Through the roots of their ruined divine tree, they could see the Light realm, and their sisters, the Ganelles, and Vedirs, but they couldn't interact with them, and the female clans forgot the existence of their brothers.

    Caphras, the former leader of the Luthraghons, who betrayed his people and his goddess, was sent to the Light Realm, by Hadum. The God of Despair wasn't satisfied by just ruling the Realm of Elvia, she wanted to cross into, and conquer new dimensions. Through the roots of Kamsylve, Caphras arrived at Grána, but he was so injured, and deformed that the Ganelles didn't recognize him as a fellow elf. First they wanted to kill him, but after an intervention from the spirits of the forest, they banished him, and left him to die.

    Because Caphras managed to reopen the gateway, crossing between the dimensions became possible once again. The Luthraghons sent a team into the Light Realm, to hunt down Caphras. And so, the female clans became aware of the Luthraghons.

    Sadly, in 235, through the newly reopened portal came an army of dark spirits, who invaded Kamasylvia, and soon the Luhraghons in Aduir lost contact with their sisters, and the team they sent to the Light Realm. The portal was closed, trapping the male elves in Elvia's realm once again.

    There was a young Luthraghon archer living in Adúir, who dedicated his life to protect the sacred Roots of Kmasylve. One early dawn, Hadum's dark army attacked the fortress, and their number was so great, they darkened the whole horizon. They broke through the defence of the Luthraghons by sheer numbers, and power. The dark spirits were slaughtering the protectors of the Roots.The young archer fought valiantly, but he realized they had no chance of survival, as he saw his brothers fall by his side.But then, something strange happened. In the center of Aduir, a blinding light appeared, and shot towards the sky. The dark spirits shattered as they came into contact with it.

    The young Luthraghon saw this, and broke through the blood soaked battlefield. As he reached the light, an elder stepped in front of him, and accused him of cowardice, and treason.The young archer was torn between duty, and hope, but as he was flooded with light, he realized the Goddess' will laid on the other side of the portal made of light.

    He shut his eyes, as he touched the light. When he opened them, he was in an unfamiliar, strange land, as Sylvia, his goddess, transported him into the Light Realm.The young Luthraghon was trying to figure out his destiny, and the will of her goddess, when he was possessed by the Black Spirit, and lost his memories.

    In 286, the borders of Kamasylvia were opened, by the decree of Queen Brolina. The young Luthraghon, who previously saved Calpheon from Belmorn, was chosen by the Kalis Parliament, and sent as delegate to represent Calpheon.

    He arrived at Grana, and after talking with the Ganelles, he realized what happened in 235, during the invasion of Kamasylvia.To save themselves, and their land, the most radical faction of the Vedir, called the Ahibs burned down the sacred divine tree, Kamsylve. Also, the chief of the Vedir, Josya Odore, figured out Caphras was one of the Lutraghons, so the male elves lost the trust of the female clans. The team, which was sent from Aduir to hunt down Caphras, (during the invasion of kamasylvia) was banished from the protection of the sacred tree, into the dark spirit infested forests. Most of them died there. ( tho a few of them survived, like the Luthraghon elder)

    Before leaving Kamasylvia, the Ahib sealed the gateway between the Light, and Elvia's Realm, trapping the Lutraghons on the other side of the portal.

    The young archer helped revive the divine tree at the request of the queen of Kamasylvia, and removed the mark of the Ahib, which sealed the doorway between the Luthraghons and the Light Realm.

    Ascension story

    One day, to cheer his Luthraghon host up, the Black Spirit suggested a visit to the sacred tree. The moon bathed Kamasylve in a pale light, as the young elf stood in front of the tree, and watched the leaves sway in the gentle wind. He was communing with the tree, trying to figure out his place in the goddess' will, his destiny. Everything was peaceful, until the Black Spirit drew his attention to a dark aura he could feel lurking around the tree.Following it, he found himself face to face with a Vedir, who disappeared in dark smoke as soon as she was discovered. The archer dashed through the forest, chasing after the dark smoke, left by one of the Vedirs who tried to imprison the Luthraghons in Elvia's Realm.

    On the seashore, near the Loopy Tree forest, he finally caught up with the fleeing elf, and they fought. The Vedir managed to injure, and knock down the young Luthraghon, but he stabbed her with one of his arrows. He shot an arrow after her, and the Vedir fled again.Ignoring the pain, and dizziness left by the blood loss, he got up, and tried to find the dead body of the Vedir. But he only discovered his arrow embedded in a tree, broken.He felt bitter and resentful, when a majestic, white Sylvian Wolf appeared. The power that radiated from it, was very familiar. When he carefully reached out, the wolf let out a long howl, dispersed into light, which became one with the archer.Then he heard a voice of his goddess:"This is my answer to you. Your destiny is in your hands. Walk the path you believe in, and that is how you'll fulfill your purpose."

    The enhancement filter for system chat doesn't solve the system chat problem.

    Despite the enhancement filter being unticked the system chat will STILL show enhancement attempts in the system chat if the chat goes idle for a few minutes. Was really hoping this would fix the problem and would allow us to have a proper private item only chat box.

    Black Spirit’s Pass still bugged?

    I took the simplified quest line for the summer season and couldn't accept the legendary blacksmiths quest. Patch said this was resolved but I still can't accept?

    Is my only option to run it on a non seasonal character? Cause apparently this is the only solution I've seen

    Corsair pve scaling

    Hello friends has anyone else noticed the seemingly missing or very bad PvE Scaling of Corsair. In these Clips I used the same combo with (299+181 = 480 AP) and (265+122 = 387 AP) on a pack of Fogans. Personally I don´t notice an obvious difference at least for the amount of AP difference there is between the two gear setups. On other classes I can personally tell a difference from e.g. 265 to 269 bracket already where on my corsair I struggle to do the same. So how has your guys experience been? I see a lot of season streamers breeze through mobs so I assume the problem starts at higher AP or is my Char just bugged? Anyone else with higher AP has input on the topic?

    Nova best class for dark rifting?

    I heard nova is best at dark rifting as Succ nova, out of all the classes her damage on rift bosses is off the charts and you can just sit in block ignoring all the ccs. Was wondering what anyone else thinks.

    Was this smart shopping, or low IQ whaling?

    I've spent about $250 on this game, but what I got is:

    Checkmate Outfit, Random DK outfit, Mystic Premium outfit Steam Master to legendary upgrade, Steam Legendary Bundle, Master Bundle, 30 days of value pack (I have 300 days in total) Corsair Outfit, Zerker Premium Outfit, Money Tent, Small stuff like underwear, etc

    I bought everything on sale or with in game coupons.

    Did I smart shop, or am I just a low IQ whale?
