    "Please Wait" while grinding.

    I keep getting this pop up but only when I'm grinding mobs. It almost always seems when I'm around the Desert Naga temple and nowhere else. It's super annoying as when it happens it stops my character in place for a couple of seconds then goes back to normal. My internet is pretty good so I hope it's not that. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Possible fix for loading screen crashing caused by packaged dependencies bundled with the game.

    So I've been crashing pretty regularly on loading screens again, something that had thankfully stopped happening for a few months but is back. I thought to check Event Viewer when I crashed, and under the Applications tab it noted something regarding a faulting vcruntime140.dll.

    A quick Google search later, and that binary file belongs to Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2015/2017/2019.

    The game likes to bundle all of the needed binaries with itself, that way you don't have to install a bunch of different dependencies to go along with the game.

    That said, this file is an outdated binary for Visual C++. And Windows will always look in the same folder as the executable that's being run when looking for extensions before checking other default locations such as the Windows Side-by-side (WinSxS) folder (the default install location for DLL extension binaries).

    You might be best off installing the C++ Redistributable for 2015/2017/2019 from Microsoft's website, and then renaming the file extension in the Black Desert\Bin64\ folder on the following files. Just change it from DLL to something like DLL2 so they're not referenced. Just don't delete the files outright just in case you have to put them back if something goes wrong. Also note a future patch to the game might undo this work as well.

    I haven't done any extensive testing on this, just a couple rounds of RBF, so your mileage may vary. But it's worth giving a shot if you notice the same type of crashing. Just check Event Viewer's Application section under Windows Logs first after one of your crashes to make sure that's the faulting module and not something else, as well as always check the System section to make sure it's not issues with your graphics driver. As well, the first time you boot the game back up it might take longer to load while Windows goes looking for the DLLs in the default locations.

    I don't understand why shultz, basilisk and waragon got buffed for the season.

    Like it just make some daily worst and for shultz barely anyone was going there. I grinded for two month and didn't see many people.

    And why only for the season ? i'm pretty sure the only one of those mobs you need to kill is the 500 waragons. Even if it was to make it more challenging why change the other ?

    Does anyone know how the daily reset works for boxes because this happens to me a lot

    I left my computer Friday night at about 11 pm, just after I turned in all my boxes. now its Sunday 2 pm and the daily limit is not reset. this happens every time I'm afk for 2 days. and it clearly says "daily limit"

    Do the same "rules" apply on the seasonal servers as normal servers when it comes to this or has it been "waved" for lack of a better word.

    Launcher stuck while patching

    So I haven`t played BDO in a while (about a month) because of some IRL stuff and I tried to come back to the game and I launched it and it started patching up with the last update on the 30th of June. it did the main patch which was 245MB and then it got stuck when checking some other files. I tried verifying the integrity of the files via steam, I installed and reinstalled the game twice now and still no result, it still wouldn't patch up. I tried sending a ticket but I haven't heard anything from PA.

    A little help, please? :3

    Hi guys,

    I thought after a long break "Cool I to try a new class in the new Season" and well yea the servers are too full in my opinion. It makes no fun if there are always 5-10 players around you! Thats to much. Then if you see someone is leaving the area 2 new players incoming.

    I cant believe why they just settled up again only 5 servers?!

    Skills and Addon debuffs, do they atack?

    So if i have a skill A that gives a "-20 DP debuff" and then I use skill B with a "-15 DP debuff addon" then will they stack?

    Is it possible for me to ude a "-15 DP addon" on my skill A with a built in "-20 DP debuff" for a total of -35DP from one skill?

    This is still not good. HP-Decay should not exist. 2500 HP + 350 damage every 2 sec is unfun gameplay.
