    Is getting a 1660Ti a good choice for BDO?

    Anyone using 1660Ti? Do you have any problem with it when playing BDO? What's the fps I should get in Remaster? Can I uncap FPS? Can I get at least 60FPS in war and siege with medium setting?

    I do some research online and see that:

    Firstly, 1660Ti seems to be better than GTX1060 6GB according to gpubenchmark.

    Secondly, a new 1660Ti is actually cheaper than a new 1060 6GB in my country. I just can't figure it out what is the reason for that. I asked my friend and he said that Because people usually buy old 1060 6GB with cheaper price.

    Not a joke. Many parts of the UI are significantly improved now. I can't believe people love that old crappy esc menu so much.

    The new esc menu is such an improvement over the old iterations, being able to "pin" things there effectively turns them into hotkeys. So I have hotkeys to esc-esc (esc->1->space), open central market (esc->2), open workers (esc->3), open character select window (esc->4), open black spirit adventure, etc...

    And people actually liked that old menu with 50 icons that you have to hunt for what function you're looking for? Blows my mind. This new one is sooo much faster once you setup some hotkeys.

    It removes a lot of mouse clicks from my most common activities, which is great for me. I love being able to open storage keeper inventory with keyboard only.

    The new dialogue window is a little weird to get used to at first, but it's fine once you get used to hitting E to turn in quest items rather than just R before.

    Repairing items at a blacksmith is sooo much faster and smoother than it was before. Great changes. The new horse market and stable UI are both massive improvements.

    All the complaining is so vastly overblown and in fact many parts of the new UI are a straight up improvement. The only thing that I think is worse-off is the lifeskill rankings UI window, which is not a huge deal to me.

    Troubleshooting for connectivity to BDO server (SEA)

    Hi all, anyone knows the IP addresses or DNS for SEA BDO server. I would like to know the actual game server, not the patching/launcher.

    Reason is I have been dc-ing intermittently. I closed the game and relaunched. Able to load patches but not start the game.

    Currently I suspect it is routing issue from my ISP as I can still browse the internet, YouTube, twitch. I tried using my mobile broadband meantime to connect and it works. However the weird part is both my house network and mobile broadband are the same ISP. Maybe house and mobile work differently.

    Btw asking support in SEA is pain in the ass. The support replied me after few days later, and say "hey I see you are logged-in now and I will close this ticket" =.= And there is no reply button to the ticket and there is only ONE option for me to rate "I am happy with the ticket response"

    Processing stones and mass-process times.

    I've searched around, but haven't found any information regarding how exactly this aspect of mass-processing work. Did anyone tried to time how long does it take for them to proc a batch of items? My result with a +12 Loggia stone was a little over 3 minutes, which is way over the 60-90 seconds mentioned in the item description.

    Buffs not showing on screen...

    The buffs/debuffs (exp, slow, etc.) on my character are not showing on screen. Any tip how can I solve it?

    EDIT: solved by u/Bloodeagle33 (Escape > Edit UI > enable the Buffs area > Save)

    Best PvE food and draught combo

    Wondering which Cron meal and Draught combination is best for killing speed. I hear a lot about monster AP not working correctly and Exquisite + Giants being stronger. Anyone made tests for this or know what is most effective? (Purely for kill speed and assuming suitability isn't an issue)

    Help me find the class that ticks all these boxes, please.

    Hello fellow adventurers, I have barely 850 hours logged into the game. 7 characters, the two at highest level are a DK and a Lahn (57 both). Can't decide to pick a main yet.

    I look for:

    • Very high sustain (so I don't have to worry about potions while grinding).
    • Pack to pack mobility.
    • Area damage (because I like big explosions).

    I'd like it to be a female character because of torpedoes but if it's not possible I'll be fine as well with a male character.

    Hi!

    Considering giving the game a try as i'm looking for something new.

    Been playing Guild Wars 2 for a very long time, a bit of ESO as well.

    I see there is a 7day trial, and some various options to buy the game.

    • Is this a buy to play or a sub game? Which package has the best value ?
    • Is there a sub or a vip membership you can pay for and what does it give?
    • Hows the cash shop? Is it pw2? How much?
    • Which items are very useful in the cash shop, and are there in game alternatives to them? (like pets or mounts)

    There are a bunch of classes...

    • Are all available at start or are some "locked" behind an in game "achievement" or something?
    • How many character slots does one start with, and how many can one have?
    • How alt friendly is this game?
    • Are classes race/gender locked?
    • Whats "Awakening" ? Is it like a class upgrade? Pictures show a different weapon, do i loose my old one when i awaken?
    • Are some more useful than others (tanks, healers, classes with special utilities) or can one play any class very self sufficiently (self heal, self dps) without going too much into gear upgrades and high lvls?
    • Are there class roles / archtypes? (squishy glass canon mage, tanky warrior, a summoner /pet user?)

    How are the zones set up?

    • Is there a lot of secret spots with interesting things?
    • Are there things to interact with in open world such as objects, chests, doors, chairs or is it just mobs to kill ?
    • Are there strong mobs that offer a challenge based on combat or just stats ?
    • Are there zone bosses of any sorts ?

    How is the progression set up?

    • Are there character levels?
    • Are zones separated by levels? Is there level scaling ?
    • Does a high lvl character one shot everything in lower lvls and does a low lvl character get one shot in higher lvl zones?
    • Is it possible to use all types of life /processing skills on a single character or is it best to focus on one or two per character for some specific "game mechanic / design" reasons?
    • Whats the penalty for death? Do i lose money / Exp / gear / gear durability which is expensive to repair back?
    • How casual friendly is the game? If not, how hardcore of a player do i have to be to progress at a "normal" pace

    Hows the pve / pvp?

    • Are there any instanced content like group dungeons or raids or something similar?
    • Is there some sort of instanced arena based pvp?
    • Is there open world pvp , and is there some kind of safe guard / protection (joining a guild, stay in town with npc guards ?
    • Is there any story mode, or main story quest line? If so, is it linear (one story from one end of continent to the other), or is it region based (you follow trough a story line from start to finish in one region, then you start a new one in the next region)

    Any tips that i should know off?

    • Things to start doing / going for early or to do daily / weekly ?
    • Anything specific to know about gear, gear acquisition, gear improvements ?
    • Are there any special / unique weapon /armor /accessories in the game? (like a low lvl ring with extra stats compared to other low lvl rings, or perhaps some sort of leveling gear that scales as you lvl up?)

    I'm still reading up on some guides from the wiki, so sorry if i asked a question that has answers written there.

    Is polly forest decent for exp 61+?

    I see it recommended everywhere, when i was going from 60 to 61 i was averaging 10% xp/hr which is awesome, but for 61 to 62 im getting around 1.3% xp/hr. Should i not be farming here at this level? or is this normal? i'm a 207ap 280dp DK, is the only other alternative mirumok leeching with my GS?
