| Does anyone know how to find this opening cinematic or what it is called? Posted: 01 Nov 2019 04:43 PM PDT Me and my gf are arguing about this, she says she has never seen anything like it and I am imagining it or something, and I know for a fact I have seen it, or maybe I'm just insane. The first time I ever played BDO an opening cinematic or cutscene or trailer or SOMETHING idk what to call it played. In the scene there is one of those hunchback mobs (idk what they're called they have a ragged cloak and carry a scythe i think) is walking or crawling thru a bunch of dead grass or wheat or something, and it doesn't look how the game does. It looks like almost real, shockingly good CGI. If you know how to watch this cinematic or if it's online somewhere please link it it is driving us crazy!!!!! | QoL for 3dmap, lock to above view Posted: 01 Nov 2019 12:41 PM PDT So we know the 3Dmap gives higher fps than 2Dmap and no map (weirdly). I kind of just kept it on for a bit and I have to say after a week it's legit better than the regular map for seeing the precise locations of players. The problem is that you have to turn on "rotate map" option because when the 3dmap is looking "ahead" instead of "overhead" you can't really see what's behind you making it worse. It goes into overhead mode when you go under terrain or near a wall. If I could lock the 3D map to be in "overhead" view all the time it would actually be better and since i'm using it for the fps gains anyways it would be really nice QoL. [link] [comments] | ||

| Question about guild boss scrolls Posted: 01 Nov 2019 05:40 PM PDT Just in case y'all know, figured I'd post this question here as well.. So this may or may not be a totally silly question, but I need to know since I don't wanna eat up my guild's daily quests if that is the case. I was told early on that any guild boss scroll that I got counted as an active quest and would use up a daily quest every day it sat in my inventory. Idk if I explained that well, but basically I grind out 3 scrolls therefore use 3 of my guild's 10 quests; as long as I have those scrolls in my inventory, I'm apparently using up 3 out of the 10 daily quests upon reset. So like.. if I did another 3 quests the next day WITH the scrolls from the previous day still in my inventory, it would become 6 used quests of 10. I dont know if that is true or not, and I'm really confused. I don't mind grinding 3 more scrolls daily if it doesn't eat up quests that way.
