    Archaeology Life Skill (Suggestion)

    The intended purpose of this proposed skill would be to make Black Desert feel fresh again for a lot of veterans and to give new players a better way to learn about Black Desert's history.

    The practical use of this life skill would be to explore Black Desert and uncover artifacts or treasures in the form of:

    • Valuable vendor trash
    • Trade goods
    • Unique processing materials for new item(s)
    • Knowledge/Titles
    • Unique Apparel
    • Furniture

    This life skill would "force" players to explore the beauty of Black Desert and learn about it's lore.

    Visit an Archaeologists within the main cities or towns and receiving a contract to help explore an area which would be highlighted on your map. These quests are repeatable but would not be possible to receive the same quest twice in a row. you cannot accept a new quest until you complete the one you're currently on and the area that needs to be explored will be defined by the area of the npc you talked to.

    You will receive item(s) by completing the mini quest as well as finding them during the quest through rng. They might be buried in a grave site defended by a ghastly mob boss, puzzle/riddle that you need to solve within ancient ruins or lost treasure guarded by the pirates of the Great Sea.

    Leveling the Life skill would allow you to encounter harder mini-quests which bring greater rewards and the mastery points will increase the quantity/value of reward received. I don't know what the Unique item might be but i was thinking either a shovel that can be used in place of the shovels that currently exist or a new item like a chisel or a book/diary that you equip that also holds stories and lore that you discovered by completing mini-quests.

    Hey guys, I modified the hotkey bindings on a character but when I switch to another, the hotkeys remain the default ones. I tried to save it in Custom Save 1 but it just wont work.

    I've been looking into this game but I can't find too much about PvP. Can anyone explain the PvP systems for me please? I am primarily looking for a 2v2 or 3v3 arena if that is a thing here.

    BDO settings help

    I don't know if it's just me, but my frame rates always around 50-65 fps, I can run games like battlefield 5 pretty smoothly on high settings, getting around 75 to 100 fps but BDO on remastered and ultra high makes it look like I'm playing old school tetris Here's my specs: Graphics card: amd radeon rx 580 Procesor: Amd ryzen 5 1600 six core processor 3.2 ghz 8gb Ram 75hz monitor

    Hi, do you have a good trailer or write up that highlights all activities that can be done in the game?

    I'm trying to convince my brother to play with me casually and I think this would be a good game because of the economic system. He seems to like games with complex money-making systems.
