Personally i was interested in balance carrack since it has that 5% speed increase which is great, but now it's been revealed that it will not only have that 5% but five more acc, brake and turn, as well as significantly amount of dmg increased in cannons. On the other hand, the LT difference is bigger for advance carrack, since the blue gear will provide more weight to carry stuff and make more money.

So, if they release new content for sea hunting having balance will be really nice, but if not will it be underperforming vs advance carrack? does that 5% in speed and acc compensate the ~ 3500 lt lack?

I would love to hear some thoughts and help me chose between both options. Thx a lot

Character Creator? Wow!

I got the game this last weekend for free, and have only played a few hours. I like it fine, but I haven't found a group to play with just yet (which is where I find most of the fun in MMO's is found). The one thing I have spent WAY too much time with is the character creator, and here's why!

I'm an artist who enjoys doing character design and drawing comics (which tend to involve a lot of various poses for characters). I've been using the character creator as a way to not only test out different faces, but to pose figures for my drawings. I've found a few websites that have something similar, but man.. BDO's character creation tools are just so good. It's so quick and easy to use.. kudos to the team that made it.

*clarification: This isn't a post asking how to find social groups, I plan on joining a guild in the near future. I've simply been spending WAY more time with the character creator than the actual game so far and thought it deserved some recognition.
