    General Use Text-Based Barter Spreadsheet with Map (In Progress, Feedback Appreciated)

    This is a bartering spreadsheet that I created for personal use, and I've almost finished collecting data so I figured I'd release it to the public to use and collect some feedback and data as well.

    Here are some screenshots of the sheet - it's quite simple and doesn't use any images (Excel isn't great at handling large amounts of images).

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • This won't work on Google Sheets (because I hate Sheets and it's awful).
    • It works on Excel 2016, and maybe 2013. Other versions I'm not certain, and Excel must be updated.

    FEATURES:

    KNOWN ISSUES:

    • Three chains are missing - I have not yet encountered these myself so I have no data for them. If you find one, please let me know and send me screenshots of your barters.
    • All 12th routes are missing - similarly, I haven't encountered these yet. Let me know again if you have this information.
    • Some of the miscellaneous barters are missing information or incorrect in the case of Black Stones. Let me know again if you find one that won't work.

    HOW TO USE:

    1. Enter your Sailing Data (Blank - Drop Down - Finished).

      1. How much Extra Weight (Boat LT - Equipment LT - Sailor LT).
      2. Enter your Sailing Level from the Drop Down.
      3. If you have a Value Pack active, tick the box, else leave it unticked.
      4. Enter your Barter Count

    2. Enter your current inventory count and when you want to receive indication that you are at or below your target count.

    3. Set your current route.

      • In the ChainLookup area, pick any of your [Level 1] to [Level 2] barters. In this example, I use the first one of [Level 1] Unidentified Ancient Mural to [Level 2] Islanders' Lunchbox at Teste Island.
      • Then, click on the [Level 1] item you chose to find the land item that trades into it.
      • This uses an approximate lookup to find the best match for the item you've entered. "Mural", "Ancient", or "Unidentified" would work just as well as "Unidentified Ancient Mural", but "Rough" could match Rough Stone, Rough Blue Crystal, etc. so it wouldn't work. To check, just make sure that the item entered under itemCheck matches what you intended.
      • Completed.
      • Your current barter chain will fill in, missing some information.
      • You can fill the missing information in however you want, personally I do the following:

    1. Filter group by [Level 4] and the in game barter by "Crow Coin".

    2. Filter group by [Level 5].

      • Enter the amount of Crow Coins you will receive from each item. Hakoven will always be first in game, but fourth in sheet. The rest go in order see completed.
      • Occasionally, you will find that some of your [Level 5] trades are missing from the Crow Coin list. These are special cases where the 10 million [Level 5] item is given instead of the ordinary [Level 5] trade. In these cases, you want to note which ones are missing, and for each [Level 5] trade, go to the [Level 4] trade and change the red Location cell to the proper location. If this doesn't work, I haven't entered it in and again, please contact me with images.

    3. Filter group by [Level 1] and [Level 2] and the in game barter by "2".

    4. Clear the filter and look towards the Miscellaneous barters on the left. Filter by each location in your list, and pick the items from the drop down.

    5. Select how many of each trade you want to do in the gray cells.

      • Your Required Parley in the info area will change each time you add more items.
      • You can use the checkboxes next to each trade to mark them as completed, and subtract from the Required Parley count.

    6. In the Map tab, click the Update button. Your selected barters and how many of each item you need will show up on the map at their approximate location; each group will have a different background and text color. Identical background and text colors indicate the same group.

      • At the top of the map is a simple weight calculator to check if you will go overweight/how much overweight you will go.
      • At the bottom of the map is another inventory list that shows the items you have at each location (Epheria, Velia, Iliya, and Ancado).
      • The set of lines through the middle of the map indicate equidistant lines from each storage accessible location.
      • Personally, I use the pen tool to draw my intended path through all my barters. These lines can be quickly deleted with the Reset Lines button.

    7. At the end of each route, the reset button on the planner page will update your barter count (provided you did all the barters you intended to) and prepare the sheet for a new route.

    BOAT TRACKER:

    1. Pick a boat you want to build from.
    2. Pick a boat you want to build to.
    3. Fill in your current Crow Coin count and make any changes necessary to your current build.
    4. Click the Save button.

    Now, if you wish to switch to a different boat, that boat's progress will load. After making changes and saving, you can switch back and forth between boats to track different progress.

    Just a friendly reminder since the idiots at Kakao didn't mention it in this weeks patchnotes and decided to edit last weeks patchnotes yesterday to give us this information.

    "Due to a technical issue, this event will not be available from May 20 (after maintenance)–May 27 (before maintenance). However, we will run this event for a compensation period from May 27 (after maintenance)–June 10 (before maintnenance). We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion. "

    So all the new spots that drop the potion, map, and compass pieces will NOT drop them at all this week.

    So there is 1 player who has been in my guild and 20 others that I have proved that they joined, and then withdrew Hekuru spikes or stalker skins to Process for their own personal use and sell on MarketplaceID: 4084 Margoria Dark IronProcessing Materials: Pure Iron Crystal x2, [Guild] Hekaru's Spike(Heating)This is just 1 of the items, this should not be a sellable item.

    I can not name him, as they have removed all data, but 21 Guilds that have come to me and said "that #$%@er stole x from me" Most guilds have screenshots with tickets and same generic response.

    Now to some, you would say its just a few spikes.

    At Least make it so these items can not be sold once processed, or can not be withdrawn by "Apprentices"

    Game was out in NA 2016, and this was supposed to be fixed a few times according to patch notes

    Comparing the old account packages with the new ones , price and value

    The prices have gone up, but the way i see it there are way more non consumable and fluff items and more actually useful items as well as pearls + discount coupons.

    Imo the travelers and explorers package actual value (from actually useful items ,no consumables, no VP, no furniture etc) are 30 and 52 €.

    Now the new standard package will go for 40€ (this is WITH the base game that costs 10€)

    The standard package will offer:

    • 15 day value pack (750 pearls)
    • +8 inv slot (800p)
    • permanent mount flute (1500p)
    • T7 mount
    • classic outfit set box (2900p ?)
    • polar bear pet (1000p)
    • 1000 pearls
    • 20% discount coupon (so like about 100-200p)

    Even without the 15 day VP or the classic outfit set box or the 20% DC coupon you will get 4300p worth of actually useful stuff +t7 mount

    The Deluxe package goes for 100€ (with the base game) and will offer:

    • 30 day value pack (1500p)
    • 15 day secret book of old moon (1250p)
    • +24 inventory slots (3x 800 = 2400p)
    • permanent mount flute (1500p)
    • t7 white horse
    • classic outfit (2900p ?)
    • premium outfit (3400p ?)

    Now granted, IF you try to buy the base game for 10€ and then slooowly buy the mentioned things during discounts and trough bundles over the next period of several months you might save some money over all.

    But compared with the soon to be old packages this is a huge upgrade and i love it.

    Specially if they consider having some special xmass, black friday, anniversary discounts on packages for 20-50% like before

    Game log in/character change bug?

    Hey people, these past 2 days I have experienced multiple log in issue. Firstly when I log into character I can only move through WASD but cannot open inventory, map, interact with NPC (R), etc. If you wait long enough it will go to reconnecting.

    Or other time I can open map and interact with NPC but some storage in towns will be empty (even though there should be item in it). It will also go to reconnecting after long enough.

    Lastly the character can sometimes fall to death or swim or die even though I left it on land or safe place (one time my DK died inside my residence in Heidel).

    While this happens I do check if my connection is just fine and tried to drop and reconnect the internet. I also tried opening web or watch videos with no problem.

    I know there are sometimes the fall to death bug but these 3 things happening more frequently these days. Do you guys know the cause or if this is also happening to you?

    PSA Morgrims Journal Turn In

    When doing turn ins for Morgrims book you should turn in all the items for the first book at one time and go to your grind spots. The buffs are only applied once you hit complete in the book itself. That way you can stagger your item drop buffs. Then just do it again for book two.

    It also appears you could use an alt for the turn ins an leave your main in its grind spot though I have yet to test that. Since it doesn't apply until you complete in the book I would think that would work.
