If you want to have all the mobs to yourself, the cost might be your karma. It might be swapping servers. It might be the time needed to stop for a duel. It might be playing super sweaty and racing them to every mob pack, altering your normal rotation to make sure they get as little as possible in order to shake them out. The cost is not set in stone. It changes for every encounter. Yet it is your decision if the cost is worth it or not. The only thing you are entitled to here is the power to make your own decisions. There is also a price to pay for playing in areas that are out of your league. That price might be other players killing you. It might be your exp if they feed you to mobs. It might be getting less mob kills when they beat you to everything. You can choose to pay this price and continue to rez. Again, it's your call to weigh risk vs reward, price vs value. At the end of the day, if you complain because what other players are willing to pay is different than what you think they should be willing to pay, you are a goddamn idiot. Please Add Consistent Armor Degradation Posted: 26 Mar 2021 09:37 AM PDT NA player here: never has there been an issue more important than this! One of the coolest features in this game is how your armor degrades as it takes damage—it adds an additional layer of immersion and makes each of the outfits more dynamic in appearance. Unfortunately, there's a severe lack of consistency among outfits in this game, especially across different classes. One of the biggest culprits is the Dark Knight. I recently picked her up and was deeply disappointed with what I saw. DK Karlstein Outfit, 0 Durability - OLD PICTURE DK Karlstein Outfit, 0 Durability - circa March 2021 Featured is the Dark Knight's Karlstein outfit set. Both are at 0 durability. The first image is an old picture of the outfit I found online. The second image is a screenshot I took a couple of days ago. As you can see, the first armor showcases proper degradation that is on par with a majority of the other female Karlstein outfits. The second armor only has a dirty texture applied to it. Since the older picture does have proper degradation, that means it has since been removed from the game. It makes me wonder if this is more of a bug than an oversight. Unfortunately, most of her costumes and armor sets suffer the same fate as the second picture. For example, here's a comparison between Dark Knight and Ranger's Canape outfits, both at 0 durability: ​ DK Canape Outfit, 0 Durability, no visible degradation Ranger Canape Outfit, 0 Durability, regular armor degradation Nova suffers from similar issues, as I'm sure many other classes do. I feel like this is an issue no one is talking about, and if no one talks about it, it will never be fixed. I reached out to PA support about this issue, and they basically just told me to make a post about it. So here I am! I can understand this being a problem if a class was just released, but if you're going to claim a character is done, make sure its aesthetics are at least on par with the other classes. I believe degradation is a big part of the appeal regarding various outfits and armors in-game, and players shouldn't have to have a lesser experience just because of the class they chose to play (at least in the immersion/aesthetics department). All I'm asking for is consistency, and I hope there are enough players who feel the same way so that this will be fixed. Any thoughts? I want this to be noticed and get fixed. Recommended Specs? Posted: 26 Mar 2021 03:35 PM PDT To play this game on 1440p 144fps on high settings, what's the recommended specs? Would a RTX 3060 or 2080 super/TI and Ryzen 3600/3700 be able to do this or is something better needed? Good grind spots Posted: 26 Mar 2021 10:38 PM PDT What are some good grind spots for someone at 243 ap and 272 dp? I've been doing pollys and I like it but sometimes the scenery can just get so boring after seeing it for so long. I tried manshaums but I don't think my dp is high enough for that yet.
