    Sage Tricks I've Stumbled Upon

    Hey guys! I've recently picked up the Sage class, since it's new and it looked pretty fun, and as I've been playing around with the abilities, I've stumbled upon some interesting mechanics that don't quite work as advertised, and I was wondering if anyone has encountered any others.

    Now, before I get started, a short disclaimer: I'm not good at the game (I'm a PvE only player, PvP scares me), so please don't bully me too much if I'm missing anything obvious.

    Well, let's get started:

    1. Combat movement
      The sage has 2 big mobility skills: his dash (shift+w/a/s/d), known as Rift Chain, and his damage dash (w+right mouse button), known as Form Shift. As far as Rift Chain goes, there's not much to say other than the fact that the Prime version is far superior, since it allows you to use it even when it's on cooldown.
      When it comes to Form Shift though, I've discovered a neat little trick, which has the skill Flow: Form Recall at its core. Form Recall states that you dash back to your original position, but the way it actually works is that you dash towards the camera. By Using Form shift, and then doing a quick 180 with the camera afterwards and pressing RMB once more, you basically get a 2nd, free dash. The damage on these 2 dashes is nothing to scoff at either, so it's a great skill to integrate in whatever skill rotation you use for clearing, since the maxed out prime version can clear entire packs by itself.
    2. Skill Retargeting
      Similar to the trick above, this one allows you to recast one of the AoE Dmg skills, Spatial Collapse immediately afterwards, by repositioning the effect of its Flow ability, Finishing Touch. There exists a slight delay between the moment Spatial Collapse finishes and the Finishing Touch starts, and if you press A or D during the attack part of the animation of Spatial Collapse, you can make your character turn what seems to be between 30 and 45 degrees to the side corresponding to the button pressed, which then makes the Finishing Touch ability target a square in front of the character's new position.
    3. Not a tip, but a question:
      What the hell does the last level of Prime: Ancients' Wisdom even do? Does anybody know?
    4. Resource Management
      The sage is not a tanky character, at least it doesn't feel like one, and he tends to use quite a bit of mana for his skills. In order to not burn through potions, I've found that the best way to recover HP is by getting Gravity Rift (Shift + E) to at least level 3. This way, you're able to target up to 7 targets with it, and recover 10 HP per hit. 6 hits, 7 targets, 10 hp each -> up to 420 hp (nice) per cast. Not a lot, but it's something. If you need more, getting the Absolute version allows you to hit 10 targets, so that's up to 600 hp per cast. Still not great, but it's something.
      As for mana, I've found that Spatial Fissure (Shift + LMB) does a great job at recovering mana, especially once you get the Prime version. It usually gets me half of my max mana back on cast, which is pretty good, if you ask me.

    So far, the skills I believe should be prioritized are:

    Form Shift (W + RMB) - mobility and damage
    (Prime)Rift Chain (Shift + W/A/S/D) - mobility

    Spatial Collapse (S + F) - DP debuff and damage
    Ator's Energy + Atomagia (S + LMB -> RMB) - lots of damage

    (Prime) Spatial Fissure (Shift + LMB) - Mana Regen, Damage, Accuracy buff
    rank 3 Gravity Rift (Shift + E) - Life Regen, and that's about it (not a big fan of this skill, but HP is HP)

    Has anyone tried playing around with it in PvP or high end PvE (Sycraia, Fogans, Nagas, Orcs, etc.)? How does it compare to the PvP gods like Wizard/etc. and PvE gods like Striker/Hash/Lahn/etc.?

    Optimal AFK fishing setup

    From what I've researched as a returning player this would be the optimal afk fishing set up but I'm not sure if I'm missing anything.

    Gear

    • +10 Balenos Fishing Pole (Branded)

    • +10 Maple Float (Branded)

    • +5 Silver Embroidered Fisher's Clothes

    • Full Pen Loggia Accessories (2earrings/2rings/1necklace/1belt)

    • Crio's Fishing Chair

    costume/p2w items:

    • Professional Fisher's Uniform (Costume) (Fishing Ability +1 Level Fishing EXP +10%)

    • Splat Fisher's Hat (Fishing Ability +1 Level)

    • Polar Bear pet (sadly t1 I doubt I will ever get a t4)

    • 4 others pets with 5% fishing & 1% lifeskill XP

    I just recently came back and was at Master Fishing 9 and really want to hit guru. Trying to get an optimal afk and active fishing sets, but PEN Loggia & Tailoring costume coupon will be awhile since I'm trying to buy them both with silver and wondering if I need to aim for anything else.

    edit: Also new to me are butlers & fairies, would they affect fishing in anyway besides the luck/weight from the fairy?

    Fishing??

    It feels awkward and a bit embarrassing to even ask about such a simple mechanic that I know people do all the time afk... But how the frick does fishing work? Please use simple terms so I can follow. Like.. Firstly, when I cast, it only goes about three feet in front of me. Is that it or can it go further out and how do I accomplish that? Because I swear I've pressed every button trying to get past water I can stand in. Second, when I "feel a bite" and press to catch it, what then? There's another prompt, but I don't really understand how to catch anything; it just ends up saying "bad".

    How decent is Gahaz for silver and experience?

    Hello, I am a 235 ap 300 dp striker here. I've got about 650 weight and one t4, three t3 pets.

    I would like to spend time in Gahaz grinding to 62 and hopefully amassing around 3-4 billion in pure profit and maybe some caphras to upgrade my kzarka. I would probably be dropping lots of 530% scrolls and loot scrolls at Gahaz. My goal is to finish all of this in about 30 days with about 2 hours logged in each day.

    Does anyone know a rough estimate of my gains or is it even worth it for my gs and what I want? The main reason Gahaz has appealed to me is because people say it isn't as contested as Polly's and nets more silver. Any and all help is much appreciated, thank you in advance.

    Name Change on Accounts Question

    Question about p2w or somethin

    So i saw a post just to see of this game is p2w .....So here is my question .......I know this game have cash shop for some players to take the advantage but is something in the game that i cant earn with grind ...I mean nowadays iam looking for an mmo to grind AF...So am i going to be able to take everything with grind ?

    Kzarka or Blackstar

    Title mostly, i'm currently grinding with a TET Kzarka i'm just wondering if it would be worth it to swap over to a TET Blackstar since I have nearly the silver to buy one off the MP, I don't really have any plans to do largescale PvP with this toon and i only really do 1v1 for fun or DFS ocassionally. I hate the enhancement system and failstacking so i'd much rather buy any gear rather than enhance it myself so i'm wondering if I should just save for pen Kzarka or go for TET Blackstar then use a +100 failstack to try and go for PEN.
