    Account banned due to PayPal security

    Hello all, posting here hoping for some exposure or maybe someone else has had the same issue and gotten it resolved in the past.

    I'm a day 1 player, played during the initial beta tests and even have the "Master Baiter" title from a fishing event back on launch. I have multiple level 62 characters, guru lifeskiller, a Pegasus, 600gs, etc. I've played on and off these whole 5-6 years and even recently got the 5,000 hrs challenge completion.

    I've bought my fair share of pearls over the years, as this is one of the only games I play/spend money on. I've never had issues using PayPal for this, both with Kakao and Pearl Abyss post-transfer.

    On March 27th I got a notification from PayPal that they'd locked my account pending an investigation of potentially unauthorized activity. I resolved this with their support that same day, but didn't realize they'd also flagged a $10 purchase from March 24th as the "potentially unauthorized" purchase. This was super odd to me as I had several purchases since that day that all cleared fine.

    I found this out after I received communication from Paymentwall(Terminal3) that my account was restricted from making purchases until "the dispute or chargeback" was cancelled. As I hadn't initiated this myself, it took me several emails back and forth with their support as well as calls to my card company to find that it wasn't my card but actually PayPal that filed the dispute.

    Along with this email was 24 other emails from PayPal informing me of refunds. Every single purchase I had made through Terminal3 dating back to February 6th had all been refunded, not at my request. I immediately filled out an appeal on the site, and sent emails to both PayPal and Terminal3 to figure out what was going on. I called PayPal support and according to their rep only the merchant can initiate refunds in that manner. Emailed Terminal3 and surely enough, they deny and instead claim PayPal initiated the refunds. I basically spent the entire weekend writing emails or making phone calls trying to get this whole situation resolved. Happy Easter to me.

    Anyways, I start my 3rd or 4th at this point conversation with PayPal and get this response when asking about the dispute that was opened (that I've requested two times at this point to be closed as the transaction was valid activity): https://i.imgur.com/vgUSlAv.jpg

    According to this PayPal rep, their security program blocked the transaction and flagged the purchases. A complete flip of what the phone rep said, and a different answer to what the original service rep told me when I thought I had resolved it before. I sent that screenshot to Terminal3 as a "here's proof I didn't chargeback, their system did" but they are still asking me to provide proof of cancellation. But I can't cancel it, only PayPal can, and only after Terminal3 contacts them.

    Anyone ever run into a similar issue and have any advice? Anyone know if I'm completely SoL here? Pretty sure that if I lose my account due to something completely out of my control that I'm just done with the game.

    tl;dr PayPal flagged my pearl purchase as potentially unauthorized, their system initiated a full refund of every pearl purchase since February 26th, received a perma ban on my 5-6 year old account. Not sure where to go from here...

    So I barely know what I even want with this post, just a head-up before you read..

    Alright so there's probably a lot of direct hate towards me / this thread just by the title, and I'll bash a little bit on BDO here which will trigger a lot of people, sorry in advance

    I've been playing this game on and off since the release. I currently sit at 600gs as a Archer, my silver /h grinding is roughly 150m/h

    One PEN upgrade is ~21mil, which is equivalent to 140hours*150m of active grinding for me, that's 1.5months if I grind 3hours a day

    ^That is A LOT of time spent just to get a relatively small upgrade. So for me I'm at a massive gearwall, I honestly don't particularly enjoy grinding. So having to do that for THAT long for that small of an upgrade is kinda off-putting

    Im sitting on 2x 240stacks that I've build trying to make my own PEN's, which I've lost all hope on at this point

    Me and my guild plays a lot of Nodewars, which I actually don't even enjoy either.. large-scale is just not that fun, RBF is ridiculously bad, no1 is even gonna argue with that

    PvP is desyncy as fuck, servers are bad, classes are imbalanced, gear conquers skill..

    BattleArena is just a clusterfuck of 1v1 in a field, that's horrible design and not really a "fun activity" unless you go there with a friend. But that's not end-game content

    Lifeskills are of no interest to me

    So as you can see there's not really much that I like about this game, except I still fucking love it and it's the only game I somewhat enjoy right now. Even tho there's nothing fun to do.. It's just the combat is fucking amazing, but I just can't do anything fun with it.. - And I have no idea what I would play if I quit

    And that's probably never ever going to change, there's not gonna be any queueable Arenas or proper battlegrounds in this game, even if it was.. The horrendous state of the servers and imbalances are still gonna be there. So I'm thinking about just doing a mega yolo PEN roulette on all of my shit, if one Accessory pops PEN it will be equal to probably half a year of grinding and would definitely give some motivation I guess

    Question. I have these alchemy stones and trying to recharge them with clear liquid Reagent but Alchemy recharge screen does not let me select reagent. What am I doing wrong?

    Idk if anyone read the MQ in O'dyllita but at one point it does say that the ice region is like the place where dragons are born and then also says how Nouver actually comes from there, well he was kicked out and then somehow was able to live in the desert cuz his scales are diff. He built different. Plus says something about the yellow(?) dragon, pretty interesting imo

    Man i just want the new region...

    Hey,
    I wanted to ask what my options are in this scenario:

    I am in a PvE / Lifeskill guild and after some discussion some members, who where more interessted in PvP left the guild.
    Now this new guild did dec our guild one time, I dont really know why. And did hunt some people they cleary new who were against becoming a PvP guild in the discussion.

    After some time and a dicussion between the leaders everything seemed to be fine.
    But the majority of our guild did not really want to do anything with them anymore. Nearly everyone who had connections to them left the guild.

    So now because we aren't doing what they want us to do they decced us again. Hunting specific members, documenting where to find them most of the time.

    Is there some game mechanic we can use to get rid of this scenario? We are mostly lifeskillers and new players and they now that. So we dont really have a chance fighting most of them.

    I dont really have anything against pvp in general. But having people hunting me and other members out of spite isnt really something I enjoy.

    I just wanna know how long it takes to complete these on average. The family wide buff to sheet ap and dp is busted and I want to get these done. How long does it take to complete one of these books? Like one of the Igor bartalis adventure logs. And how much ap and dp in total can you get from the whole bookshelf?

    Valencia used to used to be cool

    Back in the day Valencia used to be a ghost town and it was great to turn in imperial boxes. After PA took control and the game went F2P even one of the least populated cities is an absolute hell for imperial delivery. No joke. It is gone like in 2 min after the reset. How everyone's experience for example in Altinova or even Odraxxia? The delivery system is outdated has hell anyway.

    What is the most profitable recipe for imperial cooking delivery?

    I've heard a lot of people say pickled veggies, but that stuff doesn't go into a skilled cooking box, so what recipe can net you a decent amount of profit at skilled 4, while still giving you enough exp to level?

    0xc0000005 Crash to Desktop

    So for 2 weeks now I've been frequently crashing to Desktop during loading screens mostly and rarely freeze during gameplay. I don't get any error message but using windows event viewer I could manage to look at the error code

    I've researched A LOT and feel like I've done 99% of suggestions that you can find on the internet on the issue other than swapping my RAM sticks which I just ordered.

    Is there anybody here that had the same issue and managed to fix it? Cause its getting really frustrating I cant go one nodewar or RBF without crashing.

    Grinding class suggestion

    Hey so quick question i need to grind two spots that i find rather aids on a sorc, being tunkuta(flame) and red orcs(shards).... Was thinking of tagging another class to get the grind there done easier but im not sure which would be best suited, i have a witch i was thinking of but I'd like to hear some ppl thoughts!

    VPN for playing on NA from EU?

    As you might have figured out from the title, I'm wondering if anyone in EU has tried playing on the NA servers and getting decent ping? Let's say under 130?
    Did you use a VPN service, and if so, which one?
    I have 88ms to my server in the EU and that plays fine, but when I tried the NA servers, the ping went up to 180-220ms and every attack lagged, and that just isn't playable for me.
