    To make this brief, I requested an account transfer when they initially sent out the email saying that BDO is moving to Pearl Abyss' client and got a confirmation on march 1st saying it was done. I haven't played BDO and logged into Pearl Abyss' website 2 days ago since I did the transfer.

    The reason I logged into the website was to claim the Twitch Prime Rewards (and get ready to play again) which apparently had a thing that allows you to play the game or whatever. Well, I redeemed the key before pressing "agree to the transfer" and now my account on Kakao says my account is transferred, pressing the "agree to the transfer" says my account was transferred, but the website doesn't see any of my characters. On top of that, package history said I purchased the game May 6th, the day I inputted the code for the Twitch Prime stuff.

    I made a ticket asking if what I thought is true as I don't have the game downloaded (downloading right now), and they told that it "successfully transferred" yet they couldn't see any characters on it, then told me to "try recovering the credentials of other Pearl Abyss accounts you might have" and to look at their FAQs and announcements to keep myself updated rather than just seeing if anything actually went wrong.

    The kicker? They ended the post with "Keep conquering those quests and stay safe on your adventures! Have a wonderful day, adventurer!" I get it's probably a copy pasted thing, but come on, that's just obnoxious when I lost my account I had since beta.

    I gotta say, they responded really fast initially, and now it's been over 24 hours and I'm starting to feel like this won't be resolved.

    Well, don't do what I did, I guess. I'll keep you all updated if anything does happen.

    tl;dr transferred my account months ago, didn't touch it since, logged in to add the twitch prime rewards before confirming the transfer, it overwrote the account with the thing that allows you to play the game in the Twitch Prime bundle, and customer support isn't being helpful. Account (probably) gone forever.

    Global Lab Patch Notes (7th May) - Bounty System added, Enroachment Barrier added, Sage balancing, Farming Moles update, Elvia weekly quests added

    Breakdown of this patch:

    • New "enroachment barrier" added - Hadum's influence is growing stronger and has effected Kzarka. Kzarka tried to resist Hadum and has been weakened. Players can now participate in a weekly challenge to help free Kzarka from Hadum. There are 5 stages to complete and each stage must be completed in 7 minutes. The first stage can be completed by 3 players and then after that you have to complete the challenge solo. Rewards seem to be once per family and include cron stones, ancient spirit dust, Family DP +1, Family Max HP +20, Family AP +1
    • Bounty System has been added - now when you kill someone in open world pvp you get infamy points and can become a "Wicked" player. Players who have been killed by a wicked player can put up a bounty and other players "Sheriffs" can complete the bounties for a reward. No rewards have been added just yet and we just have the basic mechanics so far but there are mentions of seasonal rewards and rankings, and a unique costume for sheriffs. Reducing infamy points requires spending 30 mil to reduce your points by a random amount and infamy is also reduced when you've been killed by a sheriff.
    • Golden Moles have been added which have a low chance to spawn when farming (lifeskill). Seems they will consume some material to turn into a pet.
    • Eliva server weekly quests have been added and the daily kill quest requirements have been reduced.
    • Sage balancing - succession pvp damage reduced for a couple of skills. Prime: Rift Chain iframe removed when used on cd and now has super armor instead as well as 20 dp effect and 30% grab resist for 2 sec. Awakening had some attention as well to make the skills flow together better.
    • Very minor bug fixes for Sorc, Witch and DK
    • PVE balance changes coming for all classes next week

    Loot report function.

    Life skilling Questions

    My Primary Goal: is gathering meat and rough stones.

    >> What female class would be better in long run? I hear Shai isnt that great. I have a Mae, I can make a Lahn .. or should I go with something else? This is going to be (hopefully) a very long project this is a very important decision for me. Your input is highly appreciated.

    >> What costume helps most with gathering? Should I use a professional gatherers uniform (with tailoring coupon)?

    I am reading the gear progression chart, I am studying the gathering calculator. I think I got common basics covered. If you can share any tips that would be great, Thanks a lot.
