    Is Black Desert Online a majorly Single Player Experience?

    Disclaimer: I've never played the game, this is genuinely a question based on the "Should you play BDO" videos I've watched on YouTube. There have been some conflicting claims in these videos and so I've decided to come straight to the source XD

    So, the title. I like co-operative games, where the community is engaged and interactive, but in some introductory videos to BDO I've seen some claims that the game plays mostly like a Single Player Experience most of the time. Is that true?

    I also am mostly a casual player and I don't always have a lot of time to grind and stuff like that. As far as I've understood, there's pretty much endless grind in this game if you're there for it, but is most of the content truly locked behind this grind? As in, if I only play for 2hrs - 3hrs a week, can I still experience activities along with other players?

    TL;DR: I really like PVE group activities, can I find this in this game? And are these activities locked behind hours of grind or can a casual player experience them too?

    So, I'm thinking of focusing on doing Odyllita Meals and I'm wondering how and where I could level up hunting to get to a point to be able to hunt odyllita wolves for their blood and meat. And, what mastery/equipments should I aim for to be efficient in both leveling up and hunting?

    First character class advice?

    Heya. So a friendo talked me into trying BDO on PC/Steam. Last few days I've been researching what the game is about and what classes are like. Lots of vids and sites, although lots of outdated info floating around. Recent YT vids like PVX Class Guide for Beginners have been a lot of help. I'm not really trying to find the "best class" or anything, but I've been looking for an easy to learn/play class that'll be good in PvE, but won't suck in PvP if I get forced into it. The common advice also seems to be picking something you enjoy over something that performs, cuz you'll play it longer anyway.

    This led to 4 classes, that I can't seem to pick between. I'll list them, along with possibly inaccurate info that led to me considering them.

    • Awak Guardian, because it seems like the safest pick. Easy to learn, good yet simple PvE. Kinda neat looking, stomping around smashing things. Some have mentioned that if you end up 1v1 against someone with a grab that knows what they're doing, you're pretty boned though. Also some people seem to get bored playing it.

    • Awak Striker. Succ Striker is the popular one for PvE, but Awak just looks more fun. Tanky, clones, no idea about sustain, potentially good 1v1 if I have to defend a spot. Not certain how worse the PvE is.

    • Awak Lahn. Again, Succ Lahn is recommended for PvE (minus lack of pull), but Awak seems to have "fun" things. Extra sustain, the grab, etc. Gliding around seems fun. Also people seem to be talking about incoming Awak buffs in 3 days or something?

    • Succ Nova. This is the one I have the least amount of info on. Big shield, lots of sustain, short lived summons, etc. Info on how well it does in PvE/PvP seems to be all over the place. Seems potentially fun, but I'm also worried about how difficult it is to learn for a low APM player.

    Am I going about this the right way? Can you spare a poor nooblet some advice and maybe help break the tie? Friendo is going to be playing boomerang healer girl btw.

    State of awakened lahn

    evening all, I've been maining guardian since her release prior to that I was awakened mystic.

    but I've found myself becoming very very bored of guardian to the point where I can't really be bothered to grind and even large scale Pvp and nodewars are just a chore, I'm not mega geared but I'm now at 275/277/350, I'm just wondering what awakened lahns Pvp is like nowadays, I have a succ striker backup for PVE and depending on what route I take I will tag this character and coupon gear over.

    Other than lahn any suggestions for strong pvx classes, not feeling sage either

    Can't exchange beginner black stones at Fughar despite completing serendia quests

    Title, pretty sure i did all the serendia stuff before all the quest changes, and have no serendia quests in my main or suggested quest log section, so I assume I've already done them, but I can't exchange at Fughar for naru items, does this sound like a bug? Or am I looking in the wrong place for the serendia quests or something?

    Shultz Necklace - What Changed?

    Connect BDO and Steam accoount?

    Hello,

    I play with an BDO/PA account. On the other hand I'm using Geforce Now, that is supporting BDO.

    But it justs support BDO over Steam... Can I connect my BDO account and my Steam account and play with my existing characters on Geforce Now.
