    So long story short, I've played BDO AFK for about 4 years, my good friends are in a popular guild and have more than favorable gear. Today I harassed one of those friends in hopes of getting a boss piece, getting a Tet, then using My J hammer for free Pen. Well goodbye J Hammer, Hello PEN DIM TREE!!! From 1.6 Bil in the bank and no Dim Tree, to 16 Bil on my chest.

    Newbie here, and I'm a bit confused and overwhelmed by everything that's there. I've checked the wikis but there are still things I don't understand.

    I seriously have NO IDEA where to even start with my questions, or what my goals are. I've also watched some beginners guides on Youtube and that answered some of my questions.

    I plan on doing some farming, but I have no idea what my goal is with farming. I know you can farm to make money, or ingredients to cook. I know money is important, so should I just farm and sell my produce? Or do I take my produce and turn it into something more useful to sell at higher rates? My main goal is to be an adventurer. Travel the world and fight monsters. With that in mind, what should I aim to do with my farm? Would cooking also be another skill to go for to make food to help me fight better?

    What about healing? I know I can make potions, but is there food that'll heal better? Or do I need to invest in alchemy to make better potions? I've done some simple alchemy to produce better potions, but is that all that's available? While I can make the better potions, I can't seem to figure out how to make the simplest potion besides buying them and making them into better potions.

    Should I even buy a house?

    What about contribution points? I remember the game used to have these emblems you collect to earn contribution points, but they've seen to have disappeared. I know you can earn them from quests, but are there supposed to be daily contribution related quests? I looked at some guides and I can't find them.

    I have more questions, but I feel like my questions are really loaded.

    Has the "2 characters during summer season" thing been explained?

    I heard mentioned in a couple videos that they're working on a way to give "two characters" to play during the summer season, and something about it might be like a tag? But has any official info on this been released?

    Trying to decide if I actually want to make a corsair, or a different class for the next season, and that may be influenced by how this feature is going to work if we have any info!
