"Shud I go awk or succ, I'm lvl 29 btw if that halps." "Guardian succ is bad at lvl44, is awake better option? I'm trying to hit lvl 65 next week and seige." Posted: 29 Feb 2020 05:09 PM PST I thought my MMO career ended looong ago but after having a work accident I'm stuck in bed for months and thought that this might be a good thing to help pass the time and have a little social outlet. 20 hours left to download on my crappy internet but plenty to learn about. I'd be really surprised if I ended up not liking this game, I don't mind spending a little. | Bdo player killers. What prompts you to kill Posted: 29 Feb 2020 05:24 PM PST I can be minding my own business grinding. Zones are crazy huge most of the time. I usually go off into a corner to grind. Not taking anyone's violents or server hopping. But when I grind, even if it's a small part of the map, they completely stomp me for zero reason and I'm in mostly boss tet gear and weapons. They smash me in like 4 hits and I'm like why? Cause if you can smash someone in almost full tet boss gear shouldn't you be somewhere else and secondly why go way out of your way to smash me when I'm not even in your grind rotation. Also on a side note, why wait until I'm engaged with mobs to stomp me, seems overkill to ensure your victory. Edit: I'm already getting down voted and messaged to "get gud". That's the state of BDO I guess? Kinda feels that way honestly. Super toxic. [link] [comments] | ||

| So i am curious about BDO and here's my question Posted: 29 Feb 2020 09:45 PM PST as i mentioned in the title.. i am super curious about what is actually black desert online? i know it's a sandbox mmo right? but what's the whole point? i know the game is pretty much grind fest but what for? i heard it don't even have raid boss so what's the point of grind for gear when the only thing u can test it at is normal mobs? is there even something challenging in this game? from what i see on youtube it's just normal grind fest like other korean mmo. group up mobs and bamm bamm done rinse and repeat is that it? or is there more to it. There is no BSOD or any errors or warnings. The PC simply shuts down and restarts. | Why am I region locked but my neighboring countries arent? Posted: 29 Feb 2020 04:37 PM PST I live in the Caribbean. We do have a sizable gaming community. And everytime there is a region lock, we are always left out. Well.. this game is free to play right now on Steam and while its available to North and South America, we are still region locked. I dont understand the logic or why it is this way or if we are left out of the equation because we are a very small region but money is money and I would have spent quite a bit on this game if it was worth it. | Strange Creatures from the Great Ocean, Drive Off Hekaru Posted: 29 Feb 2020 04:26 PM PST I just got the game the other day and reached level 50 today. So tonight and I am still moving through the primary quest line and I came to "Strange Creatures from the Great Ocean" which is asking me to drive off a hungry Hekaru with my newly acquired boat. My first attempt, I switched myself to the cannon and fired, and either I hit myself or the Hekaru hit me, and killed me. The game was telling me to "run you fool! This monster is too strong for you" or something like that right before i died. I went back to try and ram it as I saw in a video, but I would just pass through the monster and did not hurt it. So I have sailed back to port to make this post and repair my ship. The sailing is so slow this has taken like 2 hours now and I am wondering if anyone can give me any advice on how to complete this quest, or better yet, how I can completely skip any additional ocean/sea/boat quests and continue on the main quest line. This sailing shit is way too slow and janky for me. [link] [comments] | ||
