    NA Tier 1 Balenos "Siege" Weekly Report

    Preface: Recently some guilds in the T1 node war scene have decided to fight for Cron Castle every Monday on "Cron Castle Site". This node is a 40 man T1 easy, 230AP/260dp gear cap. The winning guild of Cron Castle Site will place inside of the castle the following week and gain the title of "King/Queen of Cron Castle". The winners will have to defend the castle from all other guilds who decide to place the next week, forging alliances or making enemies along the way. This week marks the 4th official week of Tier 1 Balenos Siege with the guild FlatIsJustice successfully defeating 4 other guilds to acquire Cron Castle this week. Let's take a look into who showed up and what may happen in the future:

    FlatIsJustice: This week's siege winners after what looked to be some really great fights. Flat showed up this week with almost full numbers once again, and looked very strong on their engages onto the previous holders of Cron Castle, Wartorn. They coordinated pushes through Wartorn's gate with Highfall, BlackKoi, and Vanished this week. Although Flat's numbers were quite high this week, solo pushing into Wartorn proved to be quite challenging due to the very good flametower and gate placements. Only with the help of Highfall and the other guilds were they finally able to bring down Wartorn this week. After Wartorn fell, FlatIsJustice moved to fight Vanished, axing them down quite quickly. Finally, after a 5 min grace period, Flat and Highfall fought for the node with Flat coming out on top. Flat was able to place 2 flags in very close proximity to Highfall, allowing them to keep constant pressure until Highfall was defeated. Overall, great showing for Flat compared to last week's castle defense. Hope to see some interesting plays next week from them as they will now be holding Cron Castle.

    Wartorn: The holders of Cron Castle site who fell to the onslaught of 4 guilds. Wartorn showed up insanely strong this week, managing to hold off Flat, Highfall, BlackKoi, and Vanished for 55 minutes. Their base placement was very well thought-out, with flametowers covering all frontal and rear pushes equally, and a gate that could trap anyone inside the fort. Wartorn showed with full attendance today, and definitely showed that they are still a force to be reckoned with utilizing great coordination and teamwork. Being able to hold the castle site for such a long period of time against 4 guilds constantly applying huge pressure is a feat in itself, so it will be exciting when Wartorn shows up next week on the other side of that gate.

    Highfall: Highfall showed up this week with what looked to be full attendance and were certainly a huge factor in Wartorn's defeat. Highfall had some really great coordinated pushes into Wartorn's base, trading off with Flat and the other guilds. They also managed to wrap around the castle and flank the placement from the walls and higher ground which put tremendous pressure on Wartorn's structures mid-way through the war. This flank was integral in allowing Flat to get a great wipe on Wartorn's flametowers and ultimately start the slow chip damage onto the tower. After Wartorn was defeated, Highfall fought BlackKoi while Flat took on Vanished. After taking out BlackKoi and the 5 min grace period, a great push onto Flat was made, bringing some structures down to very low hp. Shortly after though, the remainder of the battles were centred around their own base with the constant Flat pressure. Long respawns and being quickly de-annexed meant that the majority of the fights were quite focused. Highfall's flex teams showed great coordination in disrupting Flat's groupings, and their main ball was great at absorbing the initial pushes from Flat. Looking forward to next week's war to see how they coordinate with Wartorn and the other guilds that place.

    Other guilds this week: BlackKoi, Vanished: Great showing from the other T1 guilds who decided to show up for this week's T1 Siege. Being able to coordinate pushes into the defending castle guild is always great, and despite the lower numbers, we hope to see what more they can bring in the future!

    This week's T1 siege was a little quieter, with only 5 guilds dropping, but nonetheless thank you to all who participated this week, as there were some amazing fights. Hope to see more drop next week for T1 siege. Will Flat fall flat to a new victor, or will they "streak" Cron Castle once again?

    Highest FS in EU?

    I'm not sure if this is the highest in EU but it's the highest I've seen legit, anyone got higher?

    98 pen dande fails, no gear, no will to live... Think I was 595gs once upon a time.

    - No I don't have a tet blackstar to click PEN on, I failed tet 18 times too.

    - Yes I'm going to click PEN dandes until it hits 400

    - No I won't save it for an ogre or accessory.

    - Yes I cronned a bunch too :p

    Guild History & Journal not Updating.

    Since the beginning of this Month (April) my local Guild History and Journal isn't updating. I see this problem occoured back around 2016 once but since then has been suppodedly fixed.

    I've already tried turning off daylight savings and restarted my PC but nothing changed.

    Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

    Only about 20% exp deep into 61, and I really want to hit 62 asap so I can get my capotia earrings. I know Miru is probably the best place right now but I don't really want to group grind yet. Where would the best solo spot be for exp to level 62 asap. Currently 245/308 kutum.
