    Hello personal diary,

    I'm proud of this achievement therefore I'm writing in my diary so I can feel better or probably (most likely) worse about my achievement :)

    Comments:

    • I only played one character other than my farmer until recently where I made/SP'd up a ranger alt for fun with oasis weapons
    • ~6000$ spent, ~1000$ of it went to crons/mp rest are just outfits for my DK (I own every single one) and ranger (9 outfits) and "convenience" stuff can detail it if you want me to
    • Game time 14800 hours according to steam
    • Nerf wizard when
    • DK succession is fine and fun, needs some qol. ask me if you want more of my shitty opinions.
    • Exitlag is lit, don't download raid shadow legends its terrible

    Finally after 2000 hours.. Elten piece!

    So I originally didn't plan to go for the Elten piece, but after getting my first vodkhan I decided fk it lets go for it. I started grinding hystria around 269 nouver 18 months ago and didn't have a single pen. Skip forward 2000 hours later and I've managed to get 9 vodkhan pieces, full pen gear, and a pen laytenn purchased just a few days ago making this my best week of BDO yet.

    There is a lot of stuff I think I would love in BDO, but reading about the game on reddit there is some stuff that I want to know if are true or not.

    I know there are no dungeons here, but is it true that the only PvE is grinding thousands of mobs to get to PvP? If so, how do you feel your character gaining strength while leveling and getting gear?

    Part of the fun I've got on most sandbox I've played is feeling money matters and selling stuff you craft to other players, does this happens here? I saw someone say you put stuff to sell for an established price and is almost like just selling it to a vendor on any game.

    I've been told horse breeding is not viable if I don't pay.

    Is the exploration rewarding?

    Is there any visual customization on armor that's not costumes ? Or does everyone of the same class have the same armor looks?

    I love life skills, but I like to do them myself, is AFK fishing for example better that doing it myself? Or is being there rewarded?

    And finally, "Single player game with players around", is that true or there is stuff to do with friends?.

    Those are things that people tell me on why I will not like the game, but I feel I could really enjoy it because I don't know if that could be hate exaggerating or something like that, that's why I wanted the opinion of people that actually play.

    Currently with Shai being my main 2nd Class of choice, Main one being Archer,
    I just noticed how there is a lack of outfit choice for the Shai, what do you think?
    Shouldn't there be more outfits?
    I also noticed how silly and kinda lazy the censorship is for her with the only exception being the Kibelius Outfit.
    I fully support good censorship but when it comes to going from eastern to western audiences, it kinda feels like the bosses on the corporation literally said to some random employee "slap something in there to make it less obvious", point being, it does not match with the already little choice of outfits available.
    Practically it makes some sense, Aesthetically it does not make much sense though.
    Its a shame because they have done a pretty good job with the art for the current outfits, at least most of them, the class/race theme suits it perfectly and gives that "simplicity", "fairy-tale" and "nature" vibe, it is a nice change of pace compared to other classes.
    Other classes, especially female ones seem to be selling too much on the obvious appeal.
    Artistically sometimes it makes me sad to see a lot of artistic potential being lost.
    Shai seems to have overall a nice thematic for outfits,
    However it feels like they were literally stopped on their tracks and never produced anything new for the Shai for the longest time.
    I feel like the class deserves more (and maybe a succession-type of an upgrade but thats for the shai mains to decide if its viable).
    The whole point of this post is to point out that the class feels abandoned, not so much gameplay-wise as in, overall, however I am aware of her strong utility in PvP and PvE, it just feels less exciting than other classes in comparison, especially since the succession update. While her pve is relaxing and pvp is valuable, I still feel like there can be more into it than what already exists in game, she is not even the "best" gatherer overall, not compared to valk or maehwa, she could easily make use of a movement speed burst boost after gathering a node or something similar and practical,
    now some of these points might be wrong though,
    every player is different and every player enjoys different aspects of the game for different reasons.
    So consider to post your own opinion and observations with constructive criticism only.
    It will be much appreciated.

    Ways to agro mobs in large stacks

    I'm wondering if this is possible, as it is in other games.

    I've had limited success in my Wiz running around and RMBing mobs before turning around and letting loose.

    Is there a science to this? And a better way to "clump" then up?

    I've heard about this new season thing and I wanted to get back in Black Desert. I have a level 58 Tamer but I made a Sorceress that's level 20 since I had a cash shop outfit for them that I liked. Should I continue playing on that character or restart from these new season servers?

    Hi hello, I'm nobody who just started focusing more on life skills, mostly gathering because F those wolves. My suggestion is that you should be able to choose which character to have Energy Regeneration. I know all your characters regenerate energy even if you're not playing them but what if you could be on your Main grinding while your Lifeskiller gets energy? You could switch with your Lifeskiller when you're bored with grinding and use it to do other things, you could grind then gather immediately.

    It could be like a toggle or something. It could be a Kamasylvia Blessing exclusive but i don't think players would like that very much.

    Any changes to Harpoon Fishing yet?

    I haven't played in a little while.

    The last time I remember was the Terramin Fishing event of 2020 a few months ago. I bought a TET Manos Fishing outfit, and pushed my Fishing mastery to 705 to earn me Tier 2 Harpoon Fishing bonus.

    I made 2-3 bartoli sailboats because outside of fishing boats, they're the only other valid ship to harpoon fish from, and they move hella fast.

    All said and done, I invested about 5bil into Harpoon Fishing. The payout was abysmal. It was so disheartening that I just quit.

    I've been bored lately, and wondering if there has been any changes to harpoon fishing, or just any fishing in general?

    Movie making

    Hi guys,

    I'm a webdesigner and I wanted to step a foot in the glorious world of movie making and mb one day, directing a short movie.

    So I decided to make a BDO movie to train myself and more precisely a Sorc succession PVP video. The idea behind is there's a not enough BDO movies with real editting like CSGO has and that'd be a great exercise for me to stylize it.

    I'm inspired by videos like NikkyyHD's or Virre's. I'm aiming for a mix between both styles. I wish I had Nikkyy's skill concerning 3D inscrutations tho.

    So if you guys got some sick Sorceress Succession plays recorded, preferably in 16:9 and 1920*1080 min with decent quality, and wanna contribute to this little project, feel free to contact me. Your name gonna be quoted in each of your plays of course.

    How Can I get back to the mainland

    I just went to Port Ratt because I hadn't been there before and everytime I try to get back I get my boat destroyed by someone. I have changed channels four times and it happens every time. So if there are any ways to avoid these people it would be much apreciated.
