Nova's Passive does NOT remove Volkras' DP Buff Posted: 09 Jan 2021 07:56 PM PST Hey guys, me and my friends were excited to see the Nova passive that says it removes DP buffs. So I tested it on a Volkras, which is known to have a DP buff active (It swaps this for an AP buff thru some mechanic). To my surprise, it does not remove the mob's DP buff, but does apply the AP buff. Video reference here: https://youtu.be/I18HS3paUco Cold, Dark Star's effects: – All DP increase effects are removed. (Except for All DP increase effects applied by certain skills.) – All AP -16 for 10 sec. So we can see the 2nd line here, (Except for All DP increase effects applied by certain skills.)and we thought, "Maybe Volkras' DP buff is under that statement." / "Maybe it's just a visual bug?" This is not the first time that I got a CS reply from PA like this, so I wasn't really expecting anything... but it still is frustrating. So, does anybody know a concrete answer to our experiment regarding the DP buff shenanigans? Or maybe can put me and my friends in the right direction to look for answers? cuz this passive skill is really interesting. Is Nova awakening durability busted? Posted: 09 Jan 2021 07:17 AM PST I've been trying out the Nova awakening, which is quite fun. However, it seems to run out of durability on the awakening weapon and the shield INSANELY fast. I'm not used to having to repair every 30-40 mins. Class Advice Posted: 09 Jan 2021 09:01 PM PST I've been back on BDO for about 2-3 months and I've tried out almost every class (old, new, trial, etc.) and now just want a sense of which one best fits the description of what I want based on my experiences with them so far... As a player fully committed to getting into pvp, 1vs1, RBF, and hopefully somewhat helpful to NW (tier 1 for now), with decent pve but idc bout min/maxing loot... Which class best describes "burst" - high damage real quick, (1vs1 preference so I guess single target?) - great mobility (I enjoyed ninja the most cuz it could be spammed, lahn was nice but felt like it needed to be CD managed) - nice flow to skills (I'd like to avoid having to animation cancel every skill, but I understand it may be necessary) - multiple engages/disengages (hated relying on lahn awakening grab to combo, if missed I have to wait CD) - 100% NOT a class you would describe as win by outlasting, would be great if I could initiate fights but counter attacking is cool - skill ceiling is rewarding so I don't get bored I understand everything is personal preference and prolly most classes will describe some but not all the points I'd like, anyways gimme ur advice on top 3-5 classes that match this style? Worth buying compass for special barters? Posted: 09 Jan 2021 06:25 PM PST Just began bartering and got a special barter that requires me to head to the shipwrecked naval ship which seems to be out in the sea that doesn't show on the map. Computer restarting randomly while playing bdo Posted: 09 Jan 2021 02:23 PM PST Ive played the game for a couple years now and recently got this problem. My whole entire pc just restarts at random times. I can play for 5 minutes and it restarts or i can play for 4 hours and it restarts. Never happened in any other game. My cpu temps are ~60c while playing so i don't think its that. My PSU is 850w and 2 years old, so i dont think its that either. specs- 1070 ti i7 9700k 16gb ram All of these parts are ~2 years old i also reset windows to see if that would solve the problem but unfortunately not.
