    I'm not completely sure, but I've been seeing a lot of things that Nova has a canon name, as if she was a character not just a class.

    Are all classes like this? Do they each have their own names?

    Hello! Last time I posted a guide of sorts was when I released BDO Auto Closer when the game was melting people's CPUs when they got DCed and the game was minimized to tray: https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonline/comments/5i28j5/bdac_black_desert_auto_closer/

    Today I'm releasing a way to permanently change the affinity and also the priority of BDO without softwares, I put together a powershell script along with a few registry files to enable the script, you can get them at: https://github.com/iPollox/BDOAffinity

    Simply put the affinity.ps1 file in the same folder as BDO's launcher, and enable it with the registry files, then edit the affinity.ps1 file and change the affinity to your own specification, after that you can just launch the game normally from steam or a shortcut without having to touch any of the files again!

    Use https://www.mathsisfun.com/binary-decimal-hexadecimal-converter.html to get your cpu's affinity decimal value, MAKE SURE YOU INSERT YOUR VALUES FROM RIGHT TO LEFT.

    With the image shown above if you convert: 10101010101 it gives you the value: 1365, which translates to only enabling CPU 0,2,4,6,8,10.

    I don't like using a lot of softwares in my computer (like processlasso, RGB controllers, etc) so I made this solution instead.

    I've never done powershell scripts before so excuse any poor code writing level of design. Any suggestions to polish the script/method is welcomed!

    The one thing I don't like right now about this method is having to allow powershells scripts with the reg file, if there's a way to allow this one specific script to be ran and not globally enabling all of them to be ran would be fantastic, and also making the powershell script invisible at launch would be cool too.

    season pass bosses

    never done a world boss before and I need to for the season pass. what's the best way to go about this? are they doable solo? trying to convert my season character and I need to complete the pass and all I need are the boss fights.

    The fact that RBF has been around since launch as one of the only pvp modes to play is a mockery to MMORPG

    For real though- the amount of cash per hour vs the fact there is no gear brackets (except for the lower gear bracket no one joins) - and the fact that this hasnt been changed or edited in any sort of way is absolutely brutal. I revisit every so often to see if there is really any changes- but its still the same shit. At this current moment- to have fun in RBF, you should have atleast 301 ap and 346 DP- if not your going to be paper thin, rage, and die all the time. Lets all be serious here guys- usually its 1-4 people carrying the entire team- your lucky to flex if you get a lucky shot as there is so much ksing.

    1. Why not add an assist points system so people arent fighting for points constantly to try and "flex"? this egocentric issue is serious. WE NEED BALANCE
    2. Why not add least 1 more bracket MODE for people who have say, 560-580 gs or lower? oR how about a mode that allows guilds to have fun together? Man do i miss going into RBF random serv with my guild. Sure we'd get some randoms- but now its not just a few, its loads. Why????????
    3. Why not add higher rewards? the fact i can make 35 m/hour potentially with this shit is actually a laughing stock. I can make 5-10 x the amount if not more lifeskilling or grinding- whereas my next point comes in.
    4. Incentive??? literally- your ancient spirit dust isnt enough incentive or money to play this. You wonder why you have the same 50-100 playing everyday? cause those are the ones who have the most GS and can get any fun out of the mode. Isnt that the point? To have fun? Why arent you allowing lower GS characters to have Fun?
    5. Just throwing it out there- why not a tournament or a "month of rewards"/rank system for RBF? Like.......

    You guys show absolutely 0 care for players opinions and suggestions. I am shook that this shit is still this toxic and dull. If you want other players to join and actually ENJOY themselves- and have a fluctuation of different players regularly- these LITERAL SIMPLE implementations that an 11 year old could think of could be GAME changing for RBF and PVP enjoyment in BDO.

    I dont know how many times players have to beg, post, and complain about this trash since launch to still not get any REAL changes. Im tired of it though. There is NO way id ever recommend RBF to anyone trying to get practice, have fun, or earn money. Perhaps at 301+ap but before, please dont.

    My friend gifted me the NA version of BDO, I'm currently living in Asia. SEA bundles is showing on steam but I can change my currency to USD and purchase the Legendary bundle (NA) can I purchase it and not run into any troubles?

    new player, question about enchanting vs buying etc..

    so i started my first character on the current season and i've been struggling to even get something PEN on tuvala, i use 40+ fs to to from TRI to TET and 60+ to PEN, i've been having a really hard time and its putting me in a really bad mood, i'm not gonna go in detail with how bad my rng is and much i failed but its bad, i've grinded for weeks and i'm still on TRI tuvala gear and 1 weapon is TET.

    either way i'm a new player and now that i've experienced enchanting in this game, its not my thing and it puts me in bad moods and not want to play anymore, so what i'm asking is if i can completely ignore enchanting in this game after i finish the season?

    can i completely ignore enchanting in this game and buy my gear? i don't mind grinding my ass off for silver to buy the gear directly, atleast it isn't a gamble and wont put me in shitty moods, or would u guys not recommend that? is it to expensive to buy gear to the point its almost not even possible to grind that much money? and if it is possible and i'll be buying instead of enchanting, can i use my crons and all the failstacks i got from rewards/quest such as 100+ fs to get pen on tuvala?

    As a fairly new player... Wtf is happening in RBF?

    I'm not new to MMO's so I know it's an instanced pvp zone with different rooms and the goal is to end with your team having the higher points.... I guess the amount over your head is your kill worth and increases on kills but decreases on deaths.... Something like that, okay cool....

    What I don't get-

    ​

    1. Why does the mini map reflect everyone as only white squares rather than who's your team or who's the opponent's team?
    2. People can use their ghillie suits in here?... I thought that was just an open world thing, who thought it was brilliant to allow your name to be hidden in a mode where the only identifier of an opponent is the red name?
    3. Adding to that.... red titles... that's not as bad but why does this have to be a thing in here? Just makes it all the more confusing when looking around.
    4. I have a pretty decent rig and I have other adventurer effects on.... And yet, I still see characters pop out of existence with what looks like a ring of aoe's following their character and pop out, or just straight up invisible... What in the actual fuck is happening and why is everyone popping in and out like a prolonged DBZ episode?
    5. I understand gearing being an interesting contributor to a pvp mode like this but, I can't help but feel it would benefit to have a section with people set to a specific AP/DP to even everyone out rather than seeing a mixed bag of overgeared folks plowing through waves of undergeared folks.
    6. There's a million maids/butlers at the spawn point.... why is this necessary for us to get from point A to point B when loading a new screen?
    7. Going from above... WHY IS THERE A LOAD SCREEN EVERY TIME YOU DIE? I understand a respawn timer maybe being needed but a load screen every single death?.... literally why? That's the most tedious and obnoxious thing.

    What in the hell is this content doing like this, what is the point even?

    [PSA] Geforce Now Fix

    Working Fix (at least it works for me):

    - Remove the game from your GFN Library (the GFN startpage, where you can see all your games).
    - Start another game, let it load normally and then close it.
    - Add BDO to your library again and it should work.

    There are people who collect/combine and PO all the true dyes. Getting the color you want is hard enough with all the rng. Now, with the removal of loyalty dye, I fear the dye market will become meme if there is no additional ways to obtain dyes except from pearl shop.

    I just want to say that I liked the notifications when they were pushing server maintenance and the generally good greetings but is anyone else kind of tired after them being forced upon us for the past 12 hours now with no way to disable the automated ones for the twitch events... I get they're promoting it but Jeeze, just do the standard pop up when I log in, leave me alone with the constant ads while I'm playing the game, please. I disabled marketplace notifications for this reason. If anyone knows of an option to disable them let me know.

    I am beyond lost on how to log into BDO since the transfer. Please help.

    Ill make this a simple as possible. I made my account for BDO using the steam version of BDO a few months ago. I have fully done the transfer process a few weeks ago and that is complete as well. Now that Pearl Abyss has full rights to the game I can no longer login into the game with my Steam account. When I open BDO using Steam, I get a page to make a new account. It dose not give me an option to login with my steam account. If I try and type my information on this page it says that email is already in use. What am I missing here? Any help would be much appreciated.
