    Hi all. As we get closer to the 24th, there's a bit more information out there regarding deadlines, tutorials, and more information on what will be transferred and what will not. If you have friends who currently do not keep an eye on the subreddit, definitely make sure to give them a heads up that they have until May 31st, 2021 to transfer their accounts over.

    If you have questions specifically about transfer services, there's a specific new channel in the Pearl Abyss Discord called #transfer-effect-questions where you can speak to a GM or community member about your questions.

    January 27, 2021 Account Transfer Registration page opens.
    February 3, 2021 Termination of sale of Gift Packages.
    February 10, 2021 Termination of sale of Black Desert Online Game Packages, Kakao Cash and in-game Pearl Boxes.
    February 24, 2021 Termination of Kakao Games' Black Desert Online service and transfer of service to Pearl Abyss. Remaining web coupon items to be distributed via in-game mail. Account Transfer Registration page temporarily closes. All received Account Transfer Registrations will be processed.
    February 25, 2021 Pearl Abyss' Black Desert Online service is live. Account Transfer Registration page re-opens. Any further Account Transfer Registrations will be processed immediately.
    May 31, 2021 Account Transfer Registration page closes permanently & all non-transferred data will be deleted permanently.

    ∙ If you do not agree to the Account Transfer Agreement, you cannot play Black Desert Online with your Kakao Games account starting on February 24th, 2021.

    Can someone please explain to me why Dark Knight is considered a bad class right now?

    Dark Knight isnt the WORST class ever but anytime I hear/read someone saying they wanna reroll to her, its always met with negativity. She has great AOE in awakening Decent 1v1 potential in Succ. Some of the best Accuracy modifiers in the game, which i would like to think would be more valuable in PvP since evasion is meta in PvP. I understand she doesnt pull TRASH #s as high but is that really the reason ppl say shes such a bad class?

    Please keep it informative. This was my OG main back in the day and thinking about rolling to her from Lahn. Some say thats a stupid decision but idk.

    Also, "play what u find the most fun" isnt a helpful answer since im asking what the community opinion of Dark Knight is and why a lot of people say shes just flat out a "BAD" class.

    People who active grind 1b a day where/what do you grind?

    I mostly do pve in kratuga, hysteria or mirumoks and have to grind over 8hrs in order to make one billion silver just curious what everyone else that makes 1b a day does for active grinding (not including afk money making methods)

    Shanghai Fisherman

    So I was AFK fishing in Port Epheria, on the dock. And I made sure I was was still within the safe zone. Everything was fine. So I left my computer. I came back several hours later to find myself on a ship in the hull.

    I panicked and went up on deck only to see there was no one driving the ship. So I thought "maybe who ever kidnapped me is swimming near by?" So I checked the map only to find out I'm on an NPC ship. Not only that I am in the middle of open ocean! So, without the proper gear, I had to swim all the way back to land.

    So I guess my question is did someone nudge me onto this boat? Is that even possible in a safe zone? Or did i somehow just end up glitches onto thw boat? Or did the boat glitched into the dock, passed through me, and took me with it? Either way I'm really confused x.x

    With the market flooded with all sorts of everything, how do you make a profit?

    I find it really hard to make a profit when everything I want to sell has thousands and thousands on the market but no buyers. You can't undercut when nothing is selling because it's just too much of it.

    Global Lab Patch Notes (18th Feb) - Node War revamp and full node war shop breakdown, QoL UI changes, Nova buffs

    Breakdown of this week:

    • Node war UI changes - the information tab on the map has been updated to be clearer and work with the new changes coming
    • Node war revamp bug fixes
    • Node war loot shop items revealed and explained - NPC shop has been added that will appear after a node war and can only be accessed if you won the node war. The items you can buy depend on the tier of the node you won. Rewards include Caphras x50, Item drop increase scroll, Honorable Loot Chests, Marni's Unstable Fuel, Mass of Pure Magic, New Essences used to craft crystals
    • Exclusive items added for Guild Leaders who win a tier 2 or higher node war
    • QoL cooking/alchemy and processing update
    • Ability to highlight specific monsters on the minimap
    • Class bug fixes
    • Nova buffs

    Sorry that patch notes are a bit late this week, devs had some issues with item effects that they needed to investigate and this delayed the maintenace, meaning patch notes were published a day later. If anyone is interested in the reason for the delay then you can read the notice here:

    Notice TLDR: Blackstar weapons were found to have a 2% crit damage increase on them unintentionally so this has been added to the tooltip for now. As a result all other items were tested and other items were found to have effects not working properly or having similar issues. Devs are working on a data code restructure to prevent similar issues in the future but this will take some time. For now the 2% crit damage has also been added to other weapons such as Kzarka and Offin Tet. Next week live servers will be updated to fix missing tooltips

    Barely any loot with boss alts

    So I made some level 56 boss alts with the oasis gear but the loot has been absolutely horrible. I've been getting 1 blackstone, 1 aura, 1 hunter's seal most of the time with the alt and not even any gold bars. With my main I always got at least gold bars. What am I doing wrong? Are boss alts even working?
