    The enhanced controller support that was added was just porting the consoles controller support to the PC version. This utilizes their ring menus and new UIs which you're FORCED into using if you want to use a controller at all. Many players have been playing with the same controller setup for the last 4 years and now we have to completely change how we play without our consent, and for some it may not even be functionally possible.

    For quickslots, these ring menus are so ridiculously inefficient compared to the current system of inputting a bumper and it acting as a modifier for A, B, X, and Y. Quickslot 1 being RB + A. Quickslot 2 being RB + B etc. The menu support is great if you're only going to be playing with a controller on your couch or something. If you've played a sort of hybrid setup where you do combat and other active functions with your controller and fiddle with your gear with your mouse and keyboard that's simply not possible anymore. Enabling the controller forces you into this controller only mode.

    A really simple fix to this is just make this new full controller support an opt-in option in the menus. The previous menu overhaul was given an opt-in option aswell so why can't this? I'm sure this system will benefit some, while also being immensly detrimental to others who have already been using a controller on PC for many years.

    I fish a lot, so I am reporting my current progress on the five mythical fish below:

    North Margoria Not Caught
    Central/Middle Margoria Not Caught
    Ross/South Margoria Not Caught
    Hotspots/Seagull Spawns Not Caught
    Velia/"Coast" Not Caught

    Tips for Efficiency.

    Balenos Rod +10 all day, every day.

    The order I believe one should attempt to catch these is as follows:

    • Hotspot/Seagull Spawn
    • Ross/South Margoria
    • Velia/"Coast"
    • North Margoria
    • Central/Middle Margoria

    Hotspot/Seagull Spawns mythical fish is the only one that will very likely require completely active play. Any who are serious about these mythical fish should prioritize their play time attempting to catch this first. This is, in my opinion, the most difficult of the mythical fish to catch.

    Since Hotspots are active, and do not have a feasible "passive" or AFK counterpart, fishers should use their passive/AFK time to fish in Ross/South Margoria. Ross/South Margoria offers a good fishing table, low bite times, and a good yield of relics. It also offers close proximity to hotspots/seagull spawns to minimize travel times between passive/AFK and active play priorities.

    If a player happens to catch the Ross/South Margoria mythical fish, but does not catch the Hotspots/Seagull Spawns fish, they should move to Velia/"Coast" to attempt catching that fish. A good number of players have already reported catching this mythical, likely due to the high volume of people who fish there. KR player have reportedly caught this elsewhere, one posting a screenshot from Terrmian Beach during an event, so it could extend further than just Velia.

    North Marogira is suggested to be the next location simply because of its proximity to Port Ratt vs Cental/Middle Margoria. Many fishers have reported an increase in lightning strikes on their characters while AFK (which stops auto-fishing), especially in Central/Middle Margoria. Whether this is just bad RNG or something that has been unmentioned in patch notes is unknown. My preference will be North Margoria.

    The 50% item drop chance feels like a lie

    How is it 2 of my guildies all grinded at stars end for hours straight and got no distortions. Look I know that sh** is rare. But Wtf?? I haven't gotten any rare drop from thornwood, kratuga or sycria since the update. RNG is RNG but OMG what the actual f**

    Old Moon Grand Prix rewards may hinder extended play of the mode once the event quests end.

    People choose activities based on how much they enjoy doing them and how they are rewarded for it.

    If you perform poorly, the rewards you get are rather bad without the event quests as if you aren't within 10 seconds of the winner you get the same reward as someone that goes afk at the start. If you do finish, you get the same reward if you are in 4th or in 10th.

    As a result, once the event quests go away many of the worse performers will likely drop out of participating in the function.

    This in turn will drive up the waiting for matches and will pit the better performers against one another more frequently which will effectively reduce the amount that the better performers make as the time for each match to be made will increase and the rate at which they perform in the top three will drop as they face better competition.
