    if family name TheDarkestHour is on here, you are my fucking hero sir. I've been grinding hard and selling everything I could get my hands on for months to Buy a pen dande, and then this hero sells me one on minimum pre order for 17.7bilion. he could of listed it up and 19-20 bil but no. HE WAS THE HERO I NEEDED. YOU ABSOLUTE FUCKING LEGEND.

    Does the first character I take through the main quest get anything valuable one-time only?

    Besides maid, pets, etc. - specifically character items that my other chars won't get. I want to roll my "main" for the new season, but don't want to level through all the story quests on a regular character now (will be my alt) and they get all the one-time good rewards bound to them.

    About normal dyes and Merv's Palette

    I've been dying my outfits using Merv's Palette from Value Pack. But thanks to recent black dye sale and lucky po from market, I now have all the individual dyes that I want. My questions:

    (1) If I use my own dyes on the outfits while Merv's Palette is active, will they stay after VP/Merv's expire?

    (2) My VP will expire soon. If I wait and use my own dye only after VP expire, will my own dyes stay when I use another VP (thus activating Merv's Palette)?

    I want to make sure as I don't want to screw up and lose the rare dyes.

    Grind vs Lifeskill

    Hi guys, I've been playing BDO for about 3 months. I started just doing quests and some early grind, when I started to get into Lifeskill, and I really liked the perspective of silver it could give me. The thing is I saw ppl making 100b a month with that, and my eyes shine, and I started to build up my empire, but honestly, it sucks. I need to do a lot of stuff and I simple spend my whole day gathering, waiting for workers to level up, cooking and waiting for my energy to come back. It really help me out, 'cause I have only 3 hours a day to play active, the rest is semi-afk. I would like to know how long it can take me to get at higher values of income, and also, how does it compare to grind. I see a lot of ppl with 2 years gameplay reaching medium gear as grinders, and I see ppl with 6 months of lifeskilling buying entire PEN gear in weeks. That seems frustrating. Any advices?

    I don't see a scenario where I can grind 10h a day, but is there a way to use gold income from grinding to improve the daily gold I get? Don't wanna take 2 years to have competitive gear.

    Is it any good simple build node empire, grind all the time I can be active and process everything nodes produce when I'm afk? I really want to start ACTUALLY playing the game.

    Is this a "good" time to start?

    I know what i'm getting myself into. Just need a time sink for the upcoming stay at home order and I've been wanting to start an mmo for a while now so this seems like the perfect timing. And this mmo seems like right up my alley. I just need an active mmo with pretty graphics, cool skills, and competitive pvp. Also a good grinder where i can just chill listen to some tunes and auto pilot a few hours a day. Also I'm not a whale but I don't mind spending a couple hundred a month to expediate the noob process and get to the good stuff. I'm not really interested in life skilling just grinding and pvp. Any advice or guides geared towards that would be appreciated it.

    Paladin Awakening weapon that keeps Sub-weapon

    Ranger awakening has this "unique" aspect where she keeps holding her Sub weapon while in awakening, it's really cool in my opinion. ( i guess valk/musa/plum also does this) It's known that the new Paladin class have a tower shield off-hand, what would you guys like if she kept using the shield in awakening or not? what are your thoughts?

    BDO Account Issue + Returnee Catching up

    Heya guys so I've been on and off with BDO since it's release (Before Steam release, and when it was released on Steam I switched to the Steam version), I've paid tons when it comes to outfits and pets (in the steam version) but I lost access to my Kakao cash account, I've made dozens of tickets to change my kakao email to my new email but they kept telling me that I need Government issued ID and whenever I send the ID the ticket gets removed. Any help with that would be appreciated.

    So the thing is, the person that stole my previous email can't play the game but they can make tickets and I'd like to know what kind of control they have over my account (One thing for sure is that they can't access the game because it's on steam and my steam uses a different Email).

    The catching up part is that I'm probably at 510ish gs atm (been at least 1-1.5 year(s) since I discovered the Account the issue and quitted immediately of fear that I might lose everything so why work more) and I've heard that the roof is getting higher and the road to softcap is getting easier so I'd like any info on that. (P.S. I'm used to grinding 12h a day back then, probably can't do that anymore but not too far from it!)

    I play the game on steam with a different email than the one on kakao and I lost access to my kakao email, everytime I try to change the email of the kakao account to the new (steam) one the ticket gets taken down, any other way to deal with that issue? should I just continue paying-in/playing the game even though someone has control over my kakao account? what kind of control do they have? my gs is 510~, how easy is it to get to soft cap from that point?

    edit: I believe that since the only way to access the Kakao account is through steam log-in then technically the person who was the Kakao email .. can't do anything? correct me if I'm wrong.

    Ap scaling

    What is the best ap scaling classes for pve or is there a tier list for it , i am boosting my ap by a ton after 269 and looking for classes that do well at higher ap for example i feel like the difference between 261 and 269 for succ valk for me is underwhelming.

    That is my opinion but feel free to prove me wrong because i am inexperienced in high end pve / gearing.

    I've been running around trying to catch horse and no matter how much sugar cubes and no matter the catch chance I still get kicked off the horse and it runs away

    Global Lab Patch Notes 4th Dec - Bloody Monastery Hadum Grind Spot, More Items added to Family Inventory, New Guild Chat added, Automatic Mount Skill improvements

    Highlights this week:

    • New Hadum Grind Spot for Bloody Monastery this time. Mechanic is that you defeat Fanatics and get a bell which then gathers the fanatics to start summoning Muskan. If you kill all the fanatics then an Angry Muskan will spawn which is better loot than if you let them summon regular Muskan. No loot has been announced yet.
    • New items such as Elions tears, Carrots and Acacia Leaves can now be placed in the family inventory and used directly from the family inventory
    • Item Drop Increase Scroll point conversion has been improved so that the UI is clearer and you can see how many points you will get from your scrolls
    • New Guild Chat added for the Guild Leader, Advisor and Officers only
    • More horse racing revamp changes (very minor though)
    • Automatic Mount skills (which were added last week) have been improved. You now need to be Artisan 1 or higher in training to use them and get additional benefits by using a riding crop
    • Awakening BON skill effects have been changed so that you can differentiate them better

    I feel like I'm getting too few trash drops

    I'm 211 ap Kutum Musa with 3 t3 pets, 1 t2 and 1 t1. When I grind, for example, in pollys I feel like I'm getting way fewer drops than what I've seen other people get. Like ,1.5-2k drops per hour without any boosts.

    Is it my pets? My rotation? I don't know what to do to get better drops.
